eptenu®︎（えぷてぬ）は、エプロン＋てぬぐいの造語です。

お気に入りのお洋服やスーツ・お着物などを食事の際に汚して後悔をしたくない方や、その日のお洋服を気にして食事のメニューを決めてしまう方、オシャレを楽しみながら食事も思いっきり楽しみたい方にぜひ使ってもらいたい！と思い企画・開発しました。

コンパクトで軽量なので、普段はハンカチとして持ち歩き、お食事の際にはエプロンとしても使用できる多機能エプロンです。お子様とのお食事の際にもさっと首につけられて親子でシェアできます。また、お子様のファーストエプロンとして、お料理や食器洗いなど、ご家庭でのお手伝いの際にご使用いただいたり、子どもから大人までご家族でご使用いただけるエプロンとして多くのご家族にご愛用いただきたいと思います。

捺染eptenu®︎に散りばめられた「組六紋」は、上田市ゆかりの真田氏家紋・六文銭をモチーフにしたものです。100年以上の歴史がある捺染（なっせん）という技法と、1枚の生地に両面から別色を染める特殊技術によるリバーシブルデザインは、その日の気分で好きな色を選択でき、折り畳めば手拭いのように軽量で携帯性に優れ、ハンカチとしても利用できます。使い捨ての紙ナプキンではなく、繰り返し洗って使える布エプロンを。

えぷてぬは繰り返しご利用いただけるため、クリーニング代の軽減や廃棄物の削減につながり、楽しみながらSDGsやエシカル消費にも取り組むことができます。

また、使い古したえぷてぬはふきんやぞうきんとしても再利用できるため、ムダなく最後までご使用頂けます。

"eptenu" is a coined word of apron + tenugui ; A tenugui is a traditional Japanese cotton towel.

We designed and developed the product because we want you to enjoy meals heartily. It is for those who do not want to regret getting their favorite clothes, suits, or fashionable dresses dirty at the time of a meal. It is also for those who worry about a certain menu dirtying their clothes at certain times of the day.

Compact and lightweight, this multifunctional apron can be carried around as a handkerchief in everyday life and used as an apron during meals. It can be quickly worn around the neck when dining with children and shared between parents and children. It can also be used as a first apron for children, for cooking, washing dishes, or for other family assistance at home, and we hope that many families, from children to adults, will use it as a family apron.

Design:

The "Kumi Rokumon" motif scattered on the textile eptenu®︎ is based on the six-fold pattern of the Sanada clan crest, which is associated with the city of Ueda. The reversible design, based on the more than 100-year-old textile printing technique and a special technology that dyes different colors from both sides on a single sheet of fabric, allows you to choose your favorite color depending on your mood. When folded, it is as lightweight and portable as a hand towel, and can also be used as a handkerchief. Instead of disposable paper napkins, you can use cloth aprons that can be washed and reused repeatedly.

Since eptenu can be used repeatedly and simple home care, it leads to reduction of dry-cleaning cost and waste, and you can enjoy working on SDGs and ethical consumption.

In addition, the worn-out eptenu can be reused as a house-cloths, so it can be used to the end without waste.
